That’s why I am first and foremost person-centered and believe a strong rapport including trust and psychological safety is the biggest factor for helping people make change. What Does a Session look like: Sessions are 50-minutes in duration and we will work together collaborately to help address your counselling needs. The first session will involve going over informed consent, gaining a bit of information about your background and developing counselling goals.  Throughout our time together you are always welcome to talk about whatever you need to talk about at that time. I will help guide you by asking questions and helping you feel your emotions moment-by-moment. I will provide ideas and techniques as we work together, however I believe that to truly empower clients we need to help them get in touch with their own inner wisdom and that everyone has an innate capacity to move towards health and wholeness. Sometimes people just get stuck along the way and need someone to help support them to reach that goal.
