ABOUT ME
When I was a little girl, I used to tell my mom that I wanted to be a heart doctor. This has continued to be my lifelong goal although it has taken on a slightly different (less literal) meaning. I am a Registered Psychologist and have worked in the counselling field since 2009. I have worked with individuals and groups in a variety of different fields including addictions, mental health, trauma, and bereavement in both not-for-profit and government settings. All my experience has lead me to understand that no matter what issues people are facing, in order to truly heal, individuals need a respectful, understanding, and non-judgmental listener that is grounded and balanced in their own right. That is what I offer my clients over and above my education and training.
With kindness, empathy and compassion, I am truly honored to journey with clients through some of their most difficult moments. The work people do in my office takes tremendous courage and determination, but is also so rewarding and life changing for them.
